Early Life & Roots
Born in Limassol in 1992, Maria grew up with a strong sense of justice, determination, and integrity. These values became the foundation of her future career as a lawyer.
Education
Maria holds a Law degree from Democritus University of Thrace in Greece (2009–2014) and graduated with distinction from Lanitio Lyceum A, Limassol. Her thesis focused on the Juvenile Correctional System in Cyprus.
Professional Career
Maria has extensive experience as a lawyer, currently leading the litigation department at Kleanthis Ch. Karamanides LLC. She has worked with major law firms, insurance companies, and served as a parliamentary associate at the House of Representatives. Her work covers litigation, corporate law, administrative law, family law, immigration, criminal law, and compliance.
Community & Public Engagement
Maria has been actively involved in public life, serving as a youth MEP at the European Parliament's Employment and Social Affairs Committee, participating in Cyprus peace talks, and volunteering in several community initiatives.
